About the event
Kruzin4Kady is the origin of our foundation and consists of a car cruise and show held annually in remembrance of Kadence "Kady" Baranek, a 5-year-old girl and daughter of fellow car enthusiasts that lived here on Oahu. Kady developed an extremely rare form of brain cancer called DIPG - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma - which is 99% fatal. DIPG typically attacks children ages 5 - 12 and unfortunately there is not much in the way of federal funding or research given. Multiple children here in Hawaii in recent years have fallen victim to the disease. Kruzin4Kady is used as a platform to educate the general public about this rare form of cancer and to raise funds for donation to DIPG research.
